We all have different style for everything in life, different values, different goals, but we all do have something in common. We all want to be healthy & happy.
Every one of us is having our own life journeys. We all experience life changing moments, happy days, sad moments, over exciting events etc. But do we all manage to go through this journey on the same way? Of course not.
I will tell you my fitness journey... As a child I always remember my mum cooking the most amazing food and cakes. The food was so delicious that I was never able to control how much I was eating. I was one of those people who always have eaten while mum was cooking and I loved it! Especially while mum was baking!!! Oh that was an amazing! Licking all spoons, knifes, plates!
It was all great before I came to my teenage years. I started to be self-conscious and started to gain weight. Of course, if you eat more then you should, this is what always happens. It came to period when I started to have problems with my stomach. I've been sick once a month and my stomach just couldn't cope with delicious food my mum was making. To cut story short, I started being on a "diet", read I started to starve myself and I made quite big damage to my health with all those ridiculous diets. I guess this is how we all do it while we create relationship with food through the years. I felt horrible, I was losing weight and then after a week of starvation I got back to chocolate and cakes and weight was back again. That circle was on all the time. I was never doing the right thing and I never knew what I was doing wrong.
The worst days I would say was when I was on my Uni - even that was all sport, exercise and right nutrition, but no one ever said how we should change our diet. Basically it was more that you as an individual should explore thousands of ways how to eat and be healthy and find a way that suits you the best! Anyway, I didn't find my way. I started to have panic attacks that I was looking too fat, that I wasn't looking how I should etc. So I started being sick on purpose. I was doing this for months. No one knew about it. It was so stupid to do it, but I did. And I'm sure many of you did the same too. My health by this was ruined. I had burst ulcer when I was 22 and I didn't know about it!! I thought I was food poisoned and friend of mine was cooking me soups while I wasn't able to move from bed not knowing exactly what was going on. I could die and I even didn't do anything about it (to go to see the doctor). But luckily nothing happened and I continued as normal.
I am not telling this that you feel sorry about me. I am saying this that you can change as there is a way. But before any change you need to change your relationship with food.
Now I am happy to tell you that I found my way and my health, energy levels are so brilliant that I even don't want to remember how it was before. I am happy with how I look and feel and for me it's my turn to help you feeling the same. Elimination diet that Cambridge and Newmarket Bootcamps are providing is proven that works and this is where your change should start. With food.
Everyone experiences problems with weight. Some find a way and some struggle for all their lives. This is what I think how you should start your own journey.
My aim is to educate and motivate to start believing in yourself, to help you to change the way how things work for you, to motivate you to stay on the right way and to not feel guilty for mistakes you've done and for mistakes you will do in the future. We all do them and mistakes will be in our lives forever, but they won't stop us growing and changing. So you should feel good to recognise them and just to keep going on the right road of changes.
Bellow you can see how women changed in our bootcamps. It is not a miracle and you can see that you can do it as well. Hope pictures will worth more than words so I will leave it there...
Cambridge and Newmarket Bootcamps are they are the only bootcamp in the area who is Women Only. Our workouts are for everyone. If you have never ever done exercise, we always give options to make it the most comfortable for you to complete certain exercises. If you are worried that your technique is not right, we are always there to teach you and show you how do it properly so you can always workout at home and know that your technique is great and safe.
If you are advanced and want to improve your fitness, our bootcamps give such a brilliant-good-fun workouts that will always challenge you and make you feel good afterwards.
The nutrition, online support, organised events and big community is what we have and we are so proud of. So many women changed their lives and I just wonder will you say no to your change.
Bootcamps give you some strange buzzing addiction where you always look forward to come and join. It is always full of lough and all ladies are so brilliant that I am going to sessions so cheerfull that I'm going to see them again and to catch up with random life situations. I do like to talk and mess around. I started to be fully myself and I love every single second of it and I will always try to make feel everyone welcome and accepted in the group, especially newbies. I bet this summer is going to be life changing and let's see will you be one of them as well. I'd love to!
