Welcome to my Blog about fitness, workouts, diet and about my personal fitness journey
We all have different style for everything in life, different values, different goals, but we all do have something in common. We all want to be healthy & happy.
The first 3 months I was unable to exercise and follow clean nutrition plan cos of constant nausea and vomiting. I started having lower back and hip pain, had terrible indigestion (what I was eating this was expected). But since I started feeling normal, I took chance and started to exercise again 3 x Water workouts, 1 x pre-natal yoga, 1-2 x body pump (if I skip this one, I just do kettlebell workout at home). I am expecting every day for pain to come, but so far I don't feel anything and I am close to 24 weeks. Yey! My sleep is perfect (I hope I won't regret for writing this if from tonight everything will change haha) and I can say that exercise really helps. So if you are pregnant, get yourself moving!
My nutrition: I am avoiding as much as I can sugar, wheat, any type of soft drinks, I have small amount of carbs a day (normally for lunch), loads of salad, for a snack 2-3 pieces of fruit a day and nuts. The only thing I didn't want to give up is coffee :/ I have normally 1 every 2 days. When we went on holiday I was naughty and I "abused a bit" rules of pregnancy Max 2 a day and every single day I had 2 coffees. To be honest I felt how you could feel with so much caffeine. When I came home I started to have 1 every 2 days and it works. I've got my energy back :) My digestion is amazing and I don't feel heartburn YET. So you could easily use clean eating in pregnancy to ease the symptoms. If you would like to know more about clean eating and you are pregnant, please don't hesitate to contact me by email email@example.com
Since I told all my clients that we are expecting, everyone seemed worried about me how I will continue to work. I explained them that my work makes me feel better and truly happy. I really believe that our body is made to move. As more me move and as much we look after what we put into our body, this is how we will feel, no matter what age, race, gender or occupation we are. It is very easy to make excuses and to make mistakes every day with hope that we will never feel consequences of our choices. But we will. Some of us feel that already right now but ignoring every single sign that our body is sending to us. If you are feeling tired, having headache, bad sleep, mood swings, suffering from indigestion etc. your body is telling you that you should do something about it. We are made to feel good, to have energy, to feel happy, to sleep well. Take responsibility for your own body as it will tell you thank you for every effort you make, being pregnant or not.
I will keep you updated how I am getting on with my pregnancy, with nursery decoration, necessary and unnecessary shopping :D and with my ups and downs and maybe it will help someone to feel inspired to look on the bright side, just as I do :)
Stay well, happy and healthy and speak very soon,
Your Adrijana x
