Welcome to my Blog about fitness, workouts, diet and about my personal fitness journey
We all have different style for everything in life, different values, different goals, but we all do have something in common. We all want to be healthy & happy.
My life before 1991
I was like every other kid. Living a happy life, going to school, having lots of friends that I played with. I was having any toy I wanted. Just started to train tennis and going to dancing school. Yep, I was talented for those things. Went on my 1st dance competition, I remember we were dancing with Madonna's song and we had the funniest outfit! I had the best grades in school and just started to learn English and German. I gave my parents reasons to be very proud and my future was looking good and I was very excited about what the future will bring me. A happy life I guess.
My life after 1991
1 day was enough to change my life. The Civil War in Ex Yugoslavia started. I was one of thousands of people who lost home, suddenly living in someone's shed in the garden in the place I've never been, without any favourite toy I owned before. I've never seen again my granny and granddad. All big dreams were gone. I wasn't playing tennis and I couldn't dance. I didn't know where my best friends were. I was suddenly surrounded with strangers... It was a period of blaming life for being so cruel and I was a witness of the worst side of it.
I don't blame bad luck or people or politics for what happened to me. Many things you can't stop to happen. The only thing you can do when bad days come is to believe, look into the stars as they are free and so beautiful, embrace love from people you love and find the fun side.
I've been through lots of hard things during long 7 years of that War. Seeing my parents giving up, I promised to myself that I will NEVER EVER let my dreams to fade and I will ALWAYS work to make them real. I can count so many things that I wanted so badly and they happened. When I couldn't do something, I didn't turn my back and walk away. I looked for a way to make things happen. Excuses don't have meaning for me. Most of people I've met in my life complain. Excuses are there for being lazy. We get so much more when we see the results of our hard work.
"Luckily" I've been raised with BIG discipline. I didn't have a choice, but I appreciate so much more the way I'm brought up. I didn't have much choice to do what I wanted. It was always the right way and my way. That gave me a good base for my life and it helped me to stay hard working, motivated, inspired by success of my parents and their desire to give us the best life as possible even in those dark days.
Appreciate what you have. If you have family near you, show them more that you love them, as I can do that only 2 weeks in a year and I wish so much that they are closer. Just for everything, don't take what you have for granted. Today you have that, tomorrow you might not. So love everything you have, love freedom that is given to you, love the job that you do as that gives you enough to have a good life, if you want more - work more. If you want to lose weight, eat less and exercise more. If you are not happy with your body, BE HAPPY as it is yours and you are unique and there is not person like you on this Planet.
I am not only born to be a trainer. I am born to motivate, inspire and teach people how to find their own belief, to help them realise they are WORTH IT and how AMAZING they are. Small nose, big nose, big leg, small arm, big waist, small bottom - this is so irrelevant. The body in general for me is beautiful in different shapes and sizes. It's all about what you carry inside. Feel, love, breathe and don't forget to dream. Reality doesn't have to be what you see. The reality is what you feel.
Feel precious, as you are precious!
